According to Dr. Ibezim Benjamin Chidi of the Ibezim group hospital and motherhood in Isiala Mbano, the decedent had gone to a native doctor for (odeshi) charm.
The native doctor prepared the spell and gave it to him. Enthusiastically, he went and called his friend to test the effectiveness of the spell with a firearm.
He reportedly asked the friend to shoot him the Danish weapon. The friend forced him and shot him, killing him instantly.
The friend brought him to the dead hospital upon his arrival. According to reports, the friend has been arrested and is now in police custody.
