A plane was forced to make an emergency landing after a passenger’s body odour caused others to vomit and faint, The Sun UK reports.

The flight to the Spanish holiday island of Gran Canaria made the unexpected detour after passengers allegedly became distressed by the stench of the "unwashed" man.

A 41-year-old housewife, Mrs. Ifeoma Ofuegbu, who allegedly sold her husband’s house without his consent was on Wednesday arraigned in an FCT High Court, Jabi.

The man killed his wife before killing himself

A jealous husband has reportedly shot his wife before shooting himself in an apparent murder suicide in a house in Wiharn Khao sub-district of Singburi, Thailand.

According to Thai Rath newspaper, Tha Chang police found 57 year old Sawian Janhorm dead in the arms of his wife Kanyaphak, 55.

The evidence showed that Sawian, a truck driver, had shot his wife in the neck then cradled her dead body in his arms and shot himself in the side of the head.

Biafra Day: Black Wednesday In Aba As Residents Accuse Military Of Killings

It was indeed a black Wednesday for residents of Chigbu Street off Uratta junction by Port Harcourt road in Aba South local government area of Abia State as a boy in his late twenties simply identified as Nnamdi was allegedly killed by yet-to-be identified soldiers, The Nation reports.

Nnamdi, an indigene of Mbano in Imo State according to some of the residents was said to have been killed by a stray bullet from the soldiers said to be on patrol in the area during the Wednesday sit-at-home protest by the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) in remembrance of their fallen heroes.

The soldiers, it was learnt were chasing after some hoodlums believed to have wanted to take advantage of the sit-at-home to cause unrest in the commercial city as they were said to be harassing innocent passersby and motorists.

According to a report by Punch Metro, pandemonium broke out on Wednesday in the Ibeshe, Ikorodu area of Lagos State, after a mob, made up of motorcycle riders, attacked the Ibeshe Police Station with stones, bottles and attempted to burn it down.

Punch Metro reports that the mob was prevented from carrying out the act by shots fired by policemen attached to the station, who also called for reinforcement from surrounding divisions.

After beating a retreat, it was gathered that the crowd set ablaze a patrol vehicle in the area and attacked policemen in sight.

Governor Yahaya Bello

The Kogi State Government says huge loan servicing is responsible for its inability to pay the salaries of its workers regularly.

The state Director-General, Media and Publicity, Mr. Kingsley Fanwo, made this known in an interview with the News Agency of Nigeria on Sunday in Lokoja.

Fanwo said that the loans were taken by the two previous administrations for projects that did not add value to the state.

“Sometimes, we repay between N400m and N500m monthly as loans that add no value to the state.

“These loans were taken by the last two administrations and some of them were invested on projects that were never completed.

“When you go out, you will see Kogi Hotels. Billions of naira was collected for that project and it was not completed, and it is not adding any value to the state.

An Arizona woman has been charged with stalking a man, sending him a total of 65,000 text messages and breaking into his home to take a bath after going out with him just once.

Jacqueline Ades, 31, was arrested in Phoenix on Tuesday on felony charges of threatening and intimidating, stalking and harassment, a misdemeanor.

Ades reportedly met the unnamed Paradise Valley resident through a dating site in 2017.

The church which was attacked

News had reported earlier that a total of four persons were feared killed yesterday when the Lagos State Task Force on Land Grabbers led by the Police stormed a church in Makoko, the Yaba area of Lagos.

104-Year-Old Scientist Commits Assisted Suicide

A 104-year-old Australian scientist who travelled to Switzerland to end his life committed assisted suicide on Thursday, the foundation which helped him die said.

David Goodall, who had been barred from seeking help to end his life in his home country, did not have a terminal illness but said his quality of life had deteriorated significantly and that he wanted to die. Philipp Nitschke, director of Exit International, said Goodall was declared dead at 12:30 pm on Thursday.

DRC Confirms Two Cases Of Ebola Virus

Two cases of the Ebola virus disease have been confirmed by a lab report in the Democratic Republic of Congo, according to a source from the Ministry of Health on Tuesday.

Five persons reportedly died while no fewer than 14 others were injured in two separate road crashes which occurred in different parts of Ogun State on Tuesday.

The first road crash occurred at Alakara, Oke Odan, along Owode-Idiroko Road and it reportedly claimed four lives.

Metro learnt that the accident involved a Ford bus carrying 18 passengers and a Cabster van with two passengers.

The driver of the Ford bus, with the number plate KSF 01 XC, reportedly engaged in wrongful overtaking at a bend.
