Saudi Arabia billionaire Prince Alwaleed Bin Talal
Saudi Arabian billionaire Prince Alwaleed bin Talal has been released from detention, family sources told Reuters.
His release on Saturday came more than two months after he was
taken into custody in the kingdom’s sweeping crackdown on corruption.
His release came hours after he predicted his imminent release
during an interview at Riyadh’s opulent Ritz-Carlton hotel. He said he
expected to be cleared of any wrongdoing and be freed within days.
The terms of his release were not immediately clear, and Saudi officials could not immediately be reached for comment.
