The shocking incident would have occurred last week on Wednesday. A video of the moment has since become viral online.
In the video, officers from the Nigerian Air Force clung to one of their men and forced him into a van. He resists them, however, and is beaten in the process.
The incident allegedly took place at the SRS junction, Markurdi, in Benue State.
It is unclear what the officer who had been beaten had done wrong, but local reports claim that he was accused of being one of those who had killed another man a day earlier.
The accused was then forced to get into the van and was chased out.
