Kefee’s Husband, Teddy Don Momoh Finally Speaks About Her Demise

Teddy Don Momoh has finally spoken for the first time after the untimely death of Gospel singer, Kefee who died at 31. Teddy who attended the recently held Encomium Black and White party in Lagos granted the magazine his first interview after her death, where he spoke about their relationship and her uncompleted project.

"I can't say I am going to miss her because there are uncountable things to miss. She was a complete, Godly, highly intelligent and strong woman. All these I will miss and also not having her by my side forever. She was a woman that knew what to say to me to keep me fired up. The last memories we had together were shared between Nigeria and America. We shot our first video together here in Nigeria as certified video producers and directors. It was fun to see her contribute highly and creatively in the camera positioning and I told her " You are what the industry has been waiting for". This happened a day before she traveled back to America"

Artists Abandoned Kefee’s Burial Because There Is No Love In The Industry- Showkey

Daddy Showkey in an interview with Leadership Newspaper has said there is no love in the music industry and musicians only pretend to love one and another, but when tragedy struck, one will see their true colour. He cited himself has an example, and how artistes shunned Kefee’s burial ceremony which took place in Sapele.

Late Kefee's husband angry at Nigerian press

Late Kefee's husband Teddy Don-Momoh is not happy with the Nigerian press and has made his feelings known. He accused the press of reporting lies about the cause of his wife's death and events leading up to her burial.

Kefee's burial arrangement announced

Burial arrangements for late Pop-Gospel singer, Irikefe Obareki Don-Momoh have just been announced on behalf of the family, by the Kefee Memorial Committee (a coalition of Kefee's family & friends in the Gospel Music & Entertainment Industry).

The singer will be laid to rest at her hometown, Okpara Inland in Delta State this Friday 11th July. Read full details after the cut...

Entertainment Industry Unite For Kefee, Sets Committee For Burial

Over 100 members of the Nigerian entertainment industry gathered on Monday in Lagos to strategise on ways and means of giving late singer, Kefee, a befitting burial. The meeting was at the instance of Pop-Gospel artist, Sammie Okposo, who provided his office premises at No. 13, Gbajumo Str., Surulere, for the meeting.

Some of the notable faces at the meeting were, Nikki Laoye, Anny Ibrahim, Tosin Martins, DJ Gosporella, Emem Ema, Wamilele, Princess, Tee-Y Mix, Perry Martins, Praise Machine, Mudi, Righteousman, Nene Soul Diva, Victor Gospogroove, Gordons and representatives from Kefee’s family.

Sammie noted that the death of Kefee has affected the Nigerian entertainment industry and the world over and not just the Gospel music community in Nigeria.

``Kefee was a major contributor to the development of entertainment in Nigeria and the industry will be there for her even in death. We are going to bury her as a queen and it would be nice for us to work together to make her burial a grand affair. It would also be nice to use this opportunity to get our acts together as Gospel artists and entertainers in general because that is what Kefee would love,’’ he said.

How I Predicted Keefe’s Death — Popular Female Drummer, Ara

Nigerian female talking drummer, Aralola Olumuyiwa popularly known as Ara has revealed how she predicted the death of the late singer, Kefee.
She told Best of Nollywood’s chat forum saying:
“I want to use this forum to appeal to my colleagues in the music industry. Less than two years ago, I had a dream about Keffee and immediately called her and narrated it to her, I also appealed to her not to make a joke of it….the rest is history.

Kefee’s Corpse Arrives Nigeria

The corpse of late gospel singer, Kefee has arrived Nigeria. The corpse arrived yesterday around 4pm via a Delta Airline aircraft at the Murtala Muhammed International Airport, Ikeja. Her family members were on ground to receive the corpse, but her husband wasn’t present.

It is not sure if he had quietly flown into the country or he is still in the United States where he had gone to be with her, before she passed away.

BREAKING NEWS: Nigerian Singer, Kefee Is Dead

Nigerian singer and radio personality, Kefee Don Momoh popularly called Kefee who collapsed on a 14-hour flight to Chicago is dead.

The Sapele born singer passed on in the early hours of today in an undisclosed Los Angeles Hospital in the US where she was rushed to for treatment.
Kefee's Publicist manager, Adeline in an official statement confirmed the singer's death.
