It Is Only Buhari That Can Tell Nigerians What He's Suffering From - Adesina

Special Adviser to the President on Media and Publicity, Mr Femi Adesina on Tuesday said it is only President Muhammadu Buhari that can reveal his ailment or details about his health.
 
Adesina said this during a phone-in-interview on Channels Television Breakfast Programme, Sunrise Daily while reacting to question about the President’s ailment deserving another trip to London, United Kingdom.
 
According to him, details about the President’s health is private and personal.

Failing Health: Osinbajo will Not be Allowed to Replace Buhari in 2019 - Northern Elders Forum

While speaking in an exclusive interview with New Telegraph, the spokesman of Northern Elders Forum (NEF), Professor Ango Abdullahi, disclosed that should President Muhammadu Buhari’s failing health prevents him from seeking re-election in 2019, the North must retain the presidency.
 
The elder statesman stressed that the region must be allowed to field a presidential candidate through the All Progressives Congress (APC), in 2019 should Buhari fail to seek re-election.
 
He said in the situation of any eventuality, the Acting President, Yemi Osinbajo should be allowed to complete the current tenure but will not be allowed to contest in 2019.

A civil rights movement, Concerned Nigerians, has given the Presidency two weeks ultimatum within which President Muhammadu Buhari should conduct a media chat to address the nation on the state of his health and other national issues, Punch reported.
 
The group said failure by the President to address the issue will result in total shut down of the country through a series of nationwide peaceful processions and call for his resignation from office.
 
This was contained in a six-paragraph statement released on Saturday and entitled: “We will shut down Nigeria if Buhari does not conduct a media chat in two weeks”, signed by its Convener, Deji Adeyanju and Secretary, Dr. John Danfulani.

Reported earlier today that an exclusive report by SaharaReporters revealed that President Muhammadu Buhari is being fed intravenously as he has had severe difficulty eating and drinking fluids for several days. 
 
A sources had disclosed that although President Buhari's health had held up for a while after his return from an extended medical vacation in the United Kingdom, his condition has deteriorated in the last several weeks. 
 
The investigative report revealed further that Buhari's eating and drinking problems, have left him too frail to leave his official residence at Aso Rock Villa to attend any official functions.
