Nigerian Woman Warned By Landlady Because Of Her Backside



The woman said her backside is causing commotion
 
A Nigerian woman has raised alarm after her landlady asked her to desist from causing commotion in her compound with her backside.
 
The young lady identified as ID James on Facebook, took to her page to reveal why her landlady warned her to stop wearing trousers while she’s within the premises.
 
According to her, the reason for that is ‘because her backside is said to be distracting the landlord (the woman’s husband)’.
 
ID seems to be a respectful lady and she has decided not to wear trousers in the compound again. See what she wrote on Facebook below;

Operatives of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, Port Harcourt Zonal Office have arrested six suspected internet fraudsters at their hotel hideout in Rumuigbo, Port Harcourt, Rivers State.
 
They were arrested on Friday, February 1, 2019, in a sting operation.
 
The suspects, comprising four men and two ladies are Oghenekewe Innocent Akinnawo, Kemka Godseat Amadi, Revelation Macaulay, Damilola Adedoyin Oyinloye, Mary Ndubuisi and Jennifer Vandi.

Senator Waku Dies In US At 72

Former senator for the Benue North West, Joseph K.N. Waku, is dead.
Waku, aged 72, served at the National Assembly in 1999, under the platform of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).

Waku was chairman of Senate committees on Senate Services, Works  and Housing, Health, Establishment, Water Resources and Privatisation, died in the United States.

Blood Flows As APC, PDP Supporters Clash In Effurun Delta State


A bloody confrontation between youths loyal to the All Progressives Congress (APC) and their Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) counterparts in Effurun, Uvwie Local Government Area of Delta State, yesterday, claimed one life and left several others injured.

The fighting, which started at about 9am, saw residents, especially motorists and passersby going to church service along the popular PTI Road in Effurun, running for safety, as the youths, suspected to be political thugs, engaged in a fierce gun battle.

Tinubu Speaks On Ambode: He Will No Longer Be Impeached

A national leader of the All Progressives Congress, Bola Tinubu, on Sunday said that Governor Akinwunmi Ambode of Lagos would no longer be removed from office.

Tinubu, who spoke after a peace meeting was brokered by the APC leadership in the state, said the State House of Assembly had agreed to sheathe its sword.

The former governor said the executive and the legislative arms of government in the state had resolved to work together in the interest of the state.

“In the last one week, there was noise about the conflict between the executive and the House of Assembly. It is of great concern to all of us and particularly, what Lagos represents across the country.

Plane carrying Cardiff City footballer Emiliano Sala found

Wreckage from a plane carrying Cardiff City footballer Emiliano Sala has been discovered in the English Channel. The Piper Malibu N264DB was lost on 21 January on its way from Nantes, France, to Cardiff, with the Argentine striker and pilot David Ibbotson on board.


Accident investigators are expected to send a submersible to inspect the wreckage later on Monday. David Mearns, who directed a privately-funded search for the aircraft, said it was located off Guernsey on Sunday. The Air Accident Investigation Branch have been at the site, working to recover the plane. 
 

Atiku ‘Moved To Tears’ By Endorsement Of Afenifere, Ohanaeze


The presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Atiku Abubakar has relished the endorsement by five socio cultural associations, saying the move has placed a greater challenge on his assignment.

The Afenifere, Ohanaeze Ndigbo, Northern Elders Forum, Pan-Niger Delta Forum and the Middle Belt Forum after a meeting in Abuja on Sunday, thrown their full weight behind Atiku’s presidential aspiration.

In a statement Sunday, which he personally signed, Atiku expressed hope for the country as Nigerians go to the polls to elect a new President in a few days.

The statement reads: “I am moved to tears that in the midst of deep divisions and deliberate use of instrumentalities of state to set our people against themselves in the last three and a half years, responsible and respected leaders across Nigeria have agreed to come together for the purpose of endorsing my candidature for the February 16th, 2019 presidential elections.

I Gave EFCC N300million To Begin Operations - Atiku

Atiku Abubakar, presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), says he gave a loan of N300million to the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) from privatisation proceeds to commence activities when the anti-graft agency was set up.

He also said one of the ways to tackle corruption is to reduce the personal relationship between individuals in the public and private sectors.

5,000 PDP Members Defect To APC In Kebbi

The Peoples Democratic Party Mobilisation Forum in Kebbi, said 5000 members of the group from the 17 Local Government Areas of the state have defected to the All Progressives Congress (APC).
 
The defectors were received by Kebbi Governor, Abubakar Bagudu and APC State Chairman, Alhaji Bala Kangiwa at the Presidential lodge in Birnin Kebbi on Saturday.
 
Bagudu while welcoming the defectors, said his obligation was to leave legacies for a better society with youths as main focus.
 
The governor also said that his administration would continue to support youths groups across the state to enhance their economic prosperity.

Pastor Adeboye's Prayer, God, Saved My Life - VP Osinbajo

Vice president Yemi Osinbajo on Sunday said God’s mercy and the special prayer of protection that the General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, Pastor Enoch Adeboye, prayed for him last Friday were responsible for his escape in the helicopter crash.

Osinbajo said this on Sunday at a thanksgiving service held at the Redeemed Christian Church of God, Phase 11, Lokoja, the Kogi State capital.

The Vice-President, who escaped unhurt in a helicopter crash on Saturday said, “I was at the Redemption Camp last Friday although I came late, after the vigil, Papa Adeboye called me and asked how the campaign was going and I told him, it was going well. He then prayed for me and specifically said ‘God, you know how dear this my son is to me, please protect him.’

Man with three wives rapes daughter in Ogun

The Ogun State Police Command, on Wednesday, announced that its operatives had arrested a 45-year-old man, Idowu Owolabi, for allegedly raping his 21-year-old daughter.Owolabi, who has three wives, was accused of having carnal knowledge of his daughter since last year. 
 
The state Police Public Relations Officer, Abimbola Oyeyemi, said this in a statement made available to journalists in Abeokuta.

Oyeyemi said both the suspect and the victim were residents of the Papa Olosun area of Oja-Odan in the Yewa South Local Government Area of the state.

2019 Elections; INEC Reveals How Results Will Be Collated And Transmitted.

The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has said results of the forthcoming elections will be collated and transmitted manually.

It also dismissed as untrue insinuations that it accorded the North undue advantage in the distribution of Permanent Voters Cards (PVC) by handing over the PVCs to religious and community leaders for distribution to registrants, unlike what obtained in the Southern states.

INEC’s National Commissioner and Chairman of Information and Voter Education, Mr. Festus Okoye, who said these, yesterday, explained that the inability of the commission to adopt electronic transmission was because of the non amendment of the electoral laws .

The Anambra East Traditional Rulers Council has slammed a one-year suspension on the traditional ruler of Umueri community, Igwe Ben Emeka, after being caught “violation of the customs and tradition of Igbo land” governing breaking of kolanuts, Sun News reports.
 
Chairman of the council and the traditional ruler of Mkpunando Aguleri –Otu community, Igwe Alex Edozieuno who signed the suspension notice dated January 31, 2019, noted that Igwe Emeka had been barred from attending meetings of the council for one year.
