British Prime Minister Theresa May arrived at the State House to meet with President Muhammadu Buhari at the Abuja Presidential Villa. President Buhari has canceled the weekly Federal Executive Council, FEC, to welcome his visitor in August.
Theresa May arrived exactly 13 hours and was brought by the military pipers of the brigade of the guards brigade where President Buhari officially welcomed him.
May's visit to Nigeria is part of her tour of some African countries. On the ground to receive it outside the president were serving ministers headed by Foreign Minister Geoffrey Onyeama, Chief of Staff, Abba Kyari, Secretary of the Federal Government, SGF, Boss Mustapha
The presidency said President Buhari and May will also sign key economic and defense agreements between Nigeria and the United Kingdom.
