President Buhari Seen Hosting Excited NYSC Members In Daura For Eid el-Adha

President Buhari said today that he has welcomed NYSC members to his hometown of Daura, Katsina State, as part of the Sallah celebration.

The chairman warmly welcomed the members of the body to his home and then took the time to pose for the photos with them.

The President shared the photos of the meeting on Twitter.

Sharing photos of himself posing with NYSC members, President Buhari explained that meeting with corpers is one of Sallah's traditions he is looking forward to.

He wrote: "One of Sallah's traditions that I expect most is the visit of young community members posted in Daura, I think the NYSC is one of the best things in Nigeria, seeing and knowing different regions of the country.
"Many of the corps members assigned to Daura are from southern Nigeria and have never lived or lived in this part of the country, it is difficult to bring them into the desert or near the Sahel region, but I have no doubt this will have a positive impact on Nigeria.
"I welcomed them to my old city of Daura and asked them to take advantage of their year of service and the hospitality of the people, and wherever they come from, Daura is also their home and I hope that in the years to come they will come back to that time with good memories. "
