The Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) has declared the complete closure of the road linking Sagamu to the Lagos-Ibadan highway.
The highway corridor will be closed for reconstruction from September 2, 2018 to January 15, 2019.
This was contained in a statement signed by FRSC public education officer, Ogun State Command, Florence Okpe.
Okpe said there will also be a temporary traffic diversion between kilometer 27, which is about 200 meters, before the Christian Church of God (RCCG) camp parking brought back to kilometer 25 after the door main camp.
She explains that she will be responsible for the construction of the motorway, Julius Berger Nigeria PLC, to carry out the repair work on the Lagos-Sagamu segment of the motorway.
She added that the development would automatically reduce the road to Lagos to accommodate motorists to Sagamu, so that Lagos and Sagamu require travelers to hover.
Okpe assured that men from FRSC and other traffic management agencies would be misplaced
