The election of the 2019 Student Union Government, held on Friday, September 4, 2019, was conducted electronically. Elections began at 8:00. and finished today at 2 pm
Students voted in the comfort of their homes and classrooms, while the University provided free Wi-Fi access in the university library so that students could use and vote freely in the classroom. simply logging on the electoral portal with their registration number and a personalized Code sent to your numbers.
The members of the Electoral Council, the agents of the candidates, the security agents and the members of the press of the University supervised the conduct of the elections from the meeting room.
This is a new milestone in the SUG elections in Nigeria's higher education institutions and will likely be copied by other universities.
