Judge Abang Okon asks Maina to stop looking at him


Okon said that while he was about to rule on the bail application filed by Maina's lawyer, Ahmed Raji. The court clerk, seeking to amplify the judge's direction, aggravated the case by asking Maina to investigate the lawsuit, which brought her to court.

A slight tragedy occurred Friday at the Federal Superior Court in Abuja, when the presiding judge, Judge Abang Okon, told the former chairman of the pension reform task force, Abdulrasheed Maina, to stop Eyeing him.

Okon said that while he was about to rule on the bail application filed by Maina's lawyer, Ahmed Raji.

Okon said, "Please, I do not want the first accused to look at me when I render my judgment so that I can concentrate."

The court clerk, seeking to amplify the judge's direction, aggravated the case by asking Maina to investigate the lawsuit, which brought her to court.

Later, the judge continued his decision and ordered that the defendant be detained in prison.
