Nine people have been arrested for allegations of fraud in connection with the Grenfell Tower fire.
Eight men and one woman were detained by officers during raids around 07:00 BST in 11 directions, mainly in West London, the Metropolitan Police said.
In a briefing, the force said that two of the detainees are linked, but that all alleged crimes are separate.
The value of the alleged fraud ranges from £ 25,000 to £ 100,000.
"All of those arrests are related to what we believe are fraudulent housing claims and / or support of one kind or another, arising out of the false claims of people associated with Grenfell Tower," said Matt Bonner, Det Supt.
