Fabian Delph has temporarily left the England World Cup camp in Russia before his wife gives birth, according to SkySports.
After starting Thursday's 1-0 loss to Belgium, the Manchester City midfielder flew home to be with his partner Natalie.
The Football Association has confirmed that Delph departed directly from Kaliningrad, and that his third son should arrive on Saturday.
Meanwhile, the England defender, John Stones, is not considered a doubt for his round of 16 match against Colombia on Tuesday, despite being replaced at halftime against Belgium.
Gareth Southgate said he "does not care" about Stones' physical form and that it was always in his plan to replace the Manchester City midfielder with Harry Maguire at halftime.
Stones sat on the bench of ice substitutes on his calf during the second half.
He has started all three matches of the World Cup in England so far and scored twice in a 6-1 victory over Panama.
England will hold its next full training session in Zelenogorsk on Saturday morning.
