The young man who was serving in Ataba, Andoni LGA from Rivers State, died after his boat overturned on June 12, 2018.
Samuel Rufus, from a state of Ekiti, and his friends had gone swimming when the tragic incident occurred, leaving family and friends totally devastated.
Local reports show that the deceased and his friends were moved to the location of the pool on a ship, but upon returning, the boat overturned and drowned.
His body was recovered three days later and he has now been buried.
