Senate President Bukola Saraki met Thursday with former President Olusegun Obasanjo.
Saraki, a People's Democratic Party, PDP, aspiring president met with Obasanjo in Ghana, during the funeral ceremony of the late United Nations Secretary General, Koffi Annan.
The president of the Senate also met with the former military head of state, Abdulsalami Abubakar.
Disclosing this in a tweet, Saraki's spokesperson, Olu Enemola wrote:
"PHOTOGRAPHIC NEWS: President of the Senate, Dr. Abubakar @BukolaSaraki and his wife, H.E. @ToyinSaraki, pay their last respects to the former Secretary General of the United Nations, Kofi Annan, today in Ghana".
