Boko Haram 'abduct 20 Bus Passengers' In Borno

Armed men suspected of being Boko Haram have abducted as many as 20 people from a passenger bus from Maiduguri on their way to Gwoza, the state of Borno.

The incident occurred just a week after the insurgents invaded a military base in Borno, leaving at least 30 soldiers dead.

The recent kidnapping was confirmed Wednesday by military sources, a family member and Senator Ali Ndume, who represents Borno South in the National Assembly.
