Leicester City Owner's Helicopter Crashes, flaws in flames

Leicester City owner's helicopter broke into flames after crashing into the parking lot of King Power Stadium after Saturday's match  with West Ham


Fans and players broke down in tears, as flames were visible from the stadium's concourse.

It is unclear how many people were on board the aircraft during the crash time.

Eyewitness said that the helicopter took off as usual from the center circle and hovered over the southeastern corner of the field before it spat and spiraled to the ground, near Filbert Way and blown into flames.

Mr Srivaddhanaprabha's helicopter and his entourage, who left King Power by helicopter, has become a family sight, as he often disregards Leicester's market circle.

Vichai Srivaddhanaprabha is believed to be the only family member who participated in the 1-1 race on Saturday night.

Tim Acott, Leicester's season ticketholder of 40, said: "It just came out of the stadium that is now spinning down to the ground.

"Just in a spiral. It hit the ground with a big blow and then blasted into flames. It's across the parking lot, I do not think there were people there. I'm shaking like something."

The area around the field has been shut down, while the arena has been evacuated. West Ham's team bus had already left, but some Leicester players were still in the arena.

Leicester City defender Harry Maguire tweeted a video of the aftermath of the crash with famous hands emojis.
