Members of Hungwe Village in Ndolwane area were left in shock after 90-year-old Ntumbu Ndlovu collapsed and died at a shopping center in Plumtree when he found out he was out of his favorite beer.
Sources said Ndlovu had left home at 5pm, and gone to his niece's homestead who stayed in the same village to collect his groceries which he left there.
A family member, Ethel Tshuma said he had a deceased drinker and loved one Ingwebu opaque beer and had no health problems except for the fact that he was advanced in age.
Tshuma's homestead, he said, "He's not buying in stock." He left the shop about 50 meters from the entrance, "Tshuma said.
Manly duties without much difficulty. He loved to walk to the shops, buy a beer and walk home and drink it under a shade she said.
The shopkeeper did not notice the old man.
