1. Forget about your risk of STDs

Across the world more than half of all people will have an STI in their lifetime and roughly one million people catch some type of sexual infection every day.

 

It doesn’t matter if you’ve been tested, if you have sex without a condom you are still putting yourself at risk of catching a sex disease.

 

In fact you can even catch an STI without having sex, so always make your sexual health a priority.

 

2. Put food in the wrong places

Playing around with food in the bedroom can be sexy, but don’t start sticking it places it shouldn’t go – like inside her vagina or anus.

 

Bits of food can break off and become lodged inside people’s bodies and it’s a common problem for emergency room doctors.

 

Stick to sex toys to be safe between the sheets – they can even make you last longer in bed. 

 

3. Pressure her to finish

Remember that one in three women have trouble orgasming during sex and a massive 80% can’t come from penetration alone, according to Planned Parenthood stats.

 

Forget about making her climax during sex and switch to foreplay or self-stimulation instead.

 

4. Go too hard or too fast

Getting too vigorous with your thrusting technique can do damage to both parties.

 

It can lead to little tears in her vagina or break your schlong.

 

Leah Millheiser, M.D., ob-gyn, clinical assistant professor at Stanford University School of Medicine, told Men’s Health: “Avoid vigorous thrusting at odd or stressful angles, since a misplaced thrust could lead to inadvertent fracture of the penis.”

 

5. Use the wrong lube

If you’re using traditional latex condoms during your romp, stick to a water or silicone-based lubricant.

 

Dr Leah explained: “If you’re using a latex condom, do not use an oil-based lube – including natural lubricants like olive or coconut oil – because they break down the latex and the condom becomes ineffective.”
