It is very sad that we do not have an effective intelligence unit in Nigeria. Our President, Goodluck Jonathan in a live media chat on Sunday told us that his government is not even sure that the missing girls of Chibok were kidnapped by Boko Haram and he also said his government does not know Boko Haram leader.
Now, the leader of the dreaded sect, Abubakar Shekau has released a video claiming responsibility for the act that has attracted international condemnation. Sadly, majority of the girls are still with him.
I abducted your girls. I will sell them in the market, by Allah.'There is a market for selling humans. Allah says I should sell. He commands me to sell. I will sell women. I sell women.
"I am the one that abducted the girls, more attacks are coming," Shekau boasted in a new video.
So, does it mean that if Shekau doesn't speak or release his videos, Nigeria's military, police and SSS can't do the needful and give the Nigerian public correct information? I'm just wondering, what is really going on?
Nigeria needs serious help!
