EDUCATION and ASUU By Henry Arnold

Why then do we go to school, is it to have †нε knowledge (to be educated) of a particular field, to be successful,or to satisfy †нε Western World's doctrine......What then differentiate success from Education, Passion from Purpose. Now let me say Jesus,Muhammed(S.A.W), Socrates, Malcom X, Mother Theresa, Spielberg, Shakespeare, Beethoven,Jesse Owens, Muhammed Alli, Sean Carter, Michael Jeffery Jordan, Michael Joseph Jackson were either successful or uneducated  yet grew up to become ICONS without going through †нε stress we experience in our Educational system


Steve Jobs (NW7b), Rechard Branson (NW4.2b), Oprah Winfrey (2.7b), Mark Zuckenberge, Henry Ford,Steven Spielberg,Bill gates neither of them in being successful ever graduated from higher institution. I am not saying education isn't good,because I am educated myself and I graduated  from †нε university(yes Obafemi Awolowo University) but then why do we have to face these "Evils" to be educated, some of us might boldly say I'm just going to school to be educated not for †нε money(KNOW)..but within urself u know †нε major purpose is to earn a living. (SUCCESSFUL)

  Nowadays youths don't pray for better Jobs,they only wish they see †нε ones available and can satisfy their present needs__ All runs down to †нε stream of Poor governance and corrupt  system we breed o'er †нε years,system  that is dying in †нε hands of our so-called leaders. They claim we are the leaders of tomorrow but control the strings that pull us aboard. Leaders I knew when I was 5 are still the same I see on the tables of kings now that I'm old. Yes they Lied,they called me a Leader then "Leader of tomorrow" when is tomorrow,I didn't sleep but time came by and passed without me noticing and now am old with no leadership trait. We are dying,the system looks interesting but it is not we don't  have rights anymore, We pay for education and yet it is not delivered to us....For how long do we intend to hold on.

Is ASSU for us or against us? Who should we blame, ASSU or THE SYSTEM that governs it? Who do we run to? If education is the key, I think we'll have the wrong key someone has locked us with our own shield.
