A talented Nigerian man named Ibukun Emmanuel has carved a
beautiful image of the present Oba of Benin, His Royal Majesty, Omo N,
‘Oba N’Edo Uku Akpolokpolor, Oba Ewuare II in a tree.
The pictures have gone viral on social media with viewers
applauding the technical skills of the young sculptor. The big tree is
currently located in Benin, Edo State - South south part of Nigeria and
efforts are being made to call the attention of the great traditional
ruler to Emmanuel's craft.
The Oba is a paramount traditional ruler in the South-south. On
Wednesday, the 23rd of October, 2016, he made a historic visit to Abuja
after his coronation in October 2016.
