Innocent Baby Rescued By NSCDC In Rivers
Operatives of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps, Rivers State
Command, on Friday, rescued a two-month-old baby girl that was dumped
in the rain by her unidentified mother.
The baby was saved during a heavy rain at about 9.20am at New Elelenwo Manifold in Akpajo, Eleme area of the state, by the men of NSCDC, who were on patrol within the area.
The baby, who was said to be in a critical condition as a result of her exposure to the rain, was rushed to the Welfare Department of the state NSCDC, where she was stabilised by a medical team.

According to the boy's mum, Mrs. Nwakaego Oramalu, Chibuike has been in detention since May 30.
The single mother of five children, said the incident that led to her son’s arrest and detention happened at a residence in the Independence Layout area of Enugu, where she worked as a housekeeper.

Cannabis 'Atms' To Open In Jamaica's Airports & Harbours
In a bid to cash in on the drug after it was decriminalized last
February, Jamaica is planning to open cannabis 'ATMs' in its airports
and harbours allowing tourists the chance to get hold of weed as soon as
they arrive in the country.
The Cannabis Licensing Authority (CLA) has now started to look at ways to introduce these dedicated desks where visitors can pick up a licence for the 'good herb'.
It is currently legal to carry up to two ounces of weed in Jamaica, although police do still have the power to issue anyone in possession with a ticket and a J$500 (£2.98) fine.
