Oh dear, it;s getting ba for Ryan week by week. Ryan Lochte has been suspended for 10 months after he falsified claims of being robbed at gunpoint during the Rio Olympics.

The Team USA swimmer was handed the suspension on Wednesday by the International Olympic Committee, the US Olympic Committee, and USA Swimming, TMZ reports.

The Osun State Command of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency, on August 15, 2016, destroyed about 21 hectares of cannabis sativa at the Onikete Farm Settlement in the Isokan Local Government Area of the state.

However, about 25 kilometres of land, which is allegedly being used to cultivate cannabis in the settlement, was allegedly spared.

Forbes released its annual list of the top 20 earning stars in hip-hop on Wednesday.

Rap moguls Jay Z, 45, and Diddy, 46, landed on top.

Diddy, for the second year in a row, claimed the highest spot on the cash countdown, with $62 million thanks to his Ciroc vodka enterprise and a host of other businesses he has ownership in.

Bauchi police nab 56 kidnappers, rescue 28

The Bauchi State POLICE Command has arrested 56 persons including four women suspected to be kidnappers and rescued 28 other people who had been abducted.

 This is as the command also arrested 15 suspected armed robbers across the state all within the last 21 days.

The command also arrested a  suspected rapist, five cattle rustlers and 14 suspected Indian hemp dealers in the Dass, Alkaleri, Soro, Tafawa Balewa, Toro and Gumau axes of the state.

A woman fighter dubbed the 'Kurdish Angelina Jolie' for her resemblance to the Hollywood superstar has died fighting ISIS, it has been claimed.

Asia Ramazan Antar was among the ranks of the all-female Women's Protection Units - a Kurdish group battling ISIS near Syria's border with Turkey.

Heavy Rain Wreaks Havoc On Lagos and Ogun States

The rain that has been falling for like 10 days in Lagos and Ogun states claimed two lives on Tuesday as a newly-wed teenager and a gatekeeper were killed in the states.

While the teenager, Faisa, was killed in Agidingbi, Ikeja area of Lagos, the gatekeeper, 27-year-old Joshua Moses, was electrocuted on the River Valley Estate, in the Ojodu Berger area of Ogun State.

Faisa and her husband, Muhammed, were reportedly married about 10 days ago in their village in Goza, Borno State, and had relocated to Lagos, before her death.

Landlord Evicts Tenants In Edo State For Supporting APC

A landlord identified as Mr. David Agberemole has rendered at least 5 tenants in his house in Uzea Community in Esan North East area of Edo State homeless for supporting APC against the PDP.

The tenants, Mr Sylvester Chukwuemeka, Okosun Christiana and Ogbeide Elizabeth who lamented their ordeal said they have suffered untold hardship from their landlord for not supporting the PDP which the landlord was sympathetic to.
