Female Lecturer In UNILAG Wanted To Seduce Me – Actress Ruth Kadiri

A fast rising Nollywood actress, Ruth Kadiri, revealed that while she was studying at the University of Lagos (UNILAG), a female lecturer tried to seduce her.

During an interview, actress Ruth condemned lesbianism, saying she can’t imagine dating a fellow woman as it is immoral and ungodly.

She stated that the lecturer whose name is withheld was not extreme about it, but she made it clear what she wanted from Ruth.

Speaking on how she got the lecturer to stop asking her out, she said: "I became her daughter’s friend and that was the way out for me."

Speaking about dating, she said: "There was a time I broke up with a guy. He thought I broke up with him because he was broke, but I broke up with him because he couldn’t handle being broke, that’s another factor that break up marriages and people don’t understand.

"When you see a guy who has money, he is a jolly good fellow, he meets all your needs, but have you thought about how the guy will handle being broke? Have you thought about how the person manages financial maturity? We need to know that when there is no money, you cannot die from being broke," she said.

Governor Fashola Says Fayose's Victory In Ekiti Is Frightening

The most performing governor in Nigeria, Babatunde Fashola of Lagos State has carried out a critical appraisal on last weekend governorship election in Ekiti State and came up with the verdict that the lessons that the result have thrown up are very frightening to the country’s democracy.

Fashola added that, “So the lessons that are supposedly coming out of Ekiti are frightening lessons for me. Lesson about whether the people of Ekiti are really saying that this was all about money and rice. This is because it is very easy to do developmental work but is it difficult to initiate and to execute. 

“It must be a very dangerous message to simply suggest that once you give people money then this is the way it will happen.”
