Russian President and wife announce they are divorcing

MOSCOW — Russian President Vladimir Putin and his wife Lyudmila have announced they are divorcing.
Married just a few weeks short of 30 years, the Putins announced the decision on state television after attending a ballet performance in the Kremlin on Thursday evening.
"It was our joint decision," Putin said.
Lyudmila Putin was rarely seen in public during her husband's long tenure at the top of Russian politics.
"I don't like publicity and flying is difficult for me," she said.

Powerball: Woman Let $590m Winner Jump Queue

A woman says she has no regrets after letting someone cut ahead of her in a queue for lottery tickets who went on to scoop a $590m (£383.4m) jackpot.

Mindy Crandell, 34, insists she is not upset that her kind gesture likely cost her the huge fortune, saying: "Things are meant to be for a reason."
Ms Crandell was queuing to purchase lottery tickets on May 18 while tending to one of her two daughters when Gloria Mackenzie, 84, stepped in front of her.
She said he 10-year-old son pointed out that a lady had stepped in front of them, but says she "didn't pay a lot of mind to it".

There was drama on Saturday night at the Nanyuki Police Station after a police officer decided to take a commercial sex worker he had arrested to his home and had sex with her instead of locking her up in cell.

It was discovered that the officer had arrested 10 twilight girls that night but one of them negotiated with him to release her and that she would sleep with him for free.
