 Reason why the Nigerian Goverment shift thr Capital of Nigeria from Lagos to Abuja is that Lagos was congested and due to the nature of the land, it was difficult to expand and have the kind of infrastructure that was envisaged. Abuja in the center of the country has virtually limitless land for expansion. World class infrastructure has been built to meet the expectations of the poor.


The Property State and Security is one of the factors in the state of government.
There had been 2 assassinations of the President and 4 changes of government in violent ways. It is a need for a better position for the seats of government.

The seat of government in Abuja is in a wide expanse of land. It has never been violent transfer of power since the capital moved in 1993.

The Lagos State is known to be
deeply entrenched in the heart of one of the main ethnic groups in Nigeria and there was no chance it was going to loosen up any future time. South Africa, Abuja is not Hausa land but the minority Gwari tribe. Igbo people from South of Nigeria are now the largest landholders in Abuja.

In the 1970s, it was Black / African Renaissance and the belief that the black man had a great manifesto destiny was still alive. Abuja was so conceived of a city that will be a showpiece and pride of the Black race.

Kaduna would have been the choice of the new Capital not Abuja.

Peaceful Protest in Utako by Shi'ites Group, ignore proscription

 After all the proscription of their activities in Nigeria, members of the Islamic Movement of Nigeria otherwise known as Shi'ites, staged a peaceful protest in Utako, Abuja on Friday October 4th.


Members of the Islamic Movement of Nigeria are reported to be demanding the unconditional release of their leader, Ibrahim El-Zakzaky as well as his wife Zeenat. El-Zakzaky has been in detention since December 2015 after members of his sect clashed with men of the Nigerian Army in Zaria, Kaduna state.

July, 2019, the public action  of the sect was proscribed following a deadly clash between them and the Police. The development lead to the Death of many people including a Corps member serving with Channels TV, Precious Owolabi, as well as a Deputy Commissioner of Police in charge of Operations, FCT Command, DCP Usman A.K Umar.

The Nigerian Police has arrested and currently parading a 34-Year-Old Nigerian who claimed to be a Real Prophet for Torturing a Boy of 10 With an Electric Iron

The Said Pastor was Identified to be Pastor Emmanuel who gets his Daily intake at Eagles Prophetic Gospel Center in Gombe State, was paraded alongside 15 other criminal suspects.


The Nigerian Man of God is accused of cruelty for inflicting physical injuries on 10-year-old Daniel James. The pastor accused his victim of theft, hence the cruel punishment meted out on him.

According to Daily Sun report, The 34-Year-Old pastor said in an interview that the Small Boy was the son of an ex-prostitute who had become a Christian again thanks to evangelism carried out by his church.


Pastor Emmanuel said: "The 10-year-old boy committed a crime of stealing, which has been his habitual character, so, that day, I took another dimension of punishment. "



He added that he took care of the child to help him get back to life.



"They lived close to an Almajiri School and the boy always had a problem with the Almajiris." So, I took him to the face. I decided to punish him in my church, everyone knew me to be a very disciplined man.



Police spokesperson Obed Mary Malum confirmed that the suspect has confessed to using a hot electric iron to burn the 10-year-old boy in different parts of his body. The police say the preacher will soon be prosecuted in court.

Grammy-award winning artiste, Louie Rankin died in a car crash in Canada

Jamaica Reggae Artist named Louie Rankin died in a car accident on Monday, September 30, in Ontario, Canada.

who was featured in DX's 1998 film Belly was involved in a wreck consisting of a transport truck and another vehicle.

 A new tweet from Rankin's verified account shows that the legendary beat killer is dead. The tweet read, 'It saddens us to have to announce that The "[ORIGINAL] DON DADA" "Trail Blazer" the legend - Louie Ox Rankin passed away this morning!

Rankin, nicknamed the 'Original Don Dada,' was a Grammy-winner for his 1992 track Typewriter. He appeared in the movie Belly with Nas, Method Man and TLC's Tionne 'T-Boz' Watkins; in the film, he played a drug lord named Ox.



He went on to appear in motion pictures including 2002's Shottas, 2014's We Run These Streets and the 2015 short film Q, In 2016, Louie and Nas both appeared in DJ Khaled’s music video for his track Nas Album Done.

Operatives of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, Port Harcourt Zonal Office have arrested six suspected internet fraudsters at their hotel hideout in Rumuigbo, Port Harcourt, Rivers State.

 

They were arrested on Friday, February 1, 2019, in a sting operation.

 

The suspects, comprising four men and two ladies are Oghenekewe Innocent Akinnawo, Kemka Godseat Amadi, Revelation Macaulay, Damilola Adedoyin Oyinloye, Mary Ndubuisi and Jennifer Vandi.
